Kid Rock teams up with Dale Earnhardt Jr. for the a new National Guard promotion.

Kid Rock wrote the new song, 'Warrior', that will be the featured song in the campaign and will be made available for download by the National Guard in September. The commercial will air nationwide at cineplexes across the US in September and October. The commercial is directed by Academy Award winning director, James Mangold

Comment by Catressa on September 6, 2008 at 1:10am: I couldn't help it.. I sat and bawled.. my only wish was this was for the Army, or all the armed services.. Not just the National Guard. Or as we refer to as them as the wanna bes..

The song.. Omgomgomg.. You made me remember the call, when my love, my world was shot. There is no feeling quite like it. He is a Warrior. He has fought valiantly to stay in the Army along with so many of his brothers and sisters who have come back "Broken, but never Defeated"

I love your music because you remind people that it's okay to be Proud to still be an American. You stay true to the people, like us, those who suffer daily. Please remember that, I know you like so many of us bare hardships.

But man, through your music? I can feel again, and its okay not to be comfortably numb anymore.

I don't have to be quite so scared for my husband, for my family or for my fellow sisters wives in the Army.

I respect you for being you and not being afraid to "TELL IT LIKE IT IS" and don't hold back on how you feel. Even though I am a Canadian, like you, I feel we MUST support all of the men and women fighting for "ALL OF US!" Never stop being you!
