I agree with you 100000000000 % !!!!!

I hadn't watched the Grammy's in years due to it being so obviously political as to who won (industry ass kissing, strings pulled, etc). I watched tonight in honor of Kid and TBT. My mind knew they wouldn't win due to political phony bullshit, but my heart so very much wanted it. I know good music, and most that shit I heard tonight was just that...SHIT! Most all of it I couldn't understand the lyrics, had to read Caption. Most of it sounded like Kindergarten music or noise pollution, surely not my definition of music.

That crap Coldplay sung wasn't Rock, it was Pop/Alternative...shouldn't have been categorized as Rock in any way...pure bullshit!!

Kid Rock & TBT represented REAL genuine music and REAL talented artists, not fake commericialized bullshit the record industry has spun out for a quick million, of which they can easily do with millions of easily brainwashed, musically ignorant listeners out there who wouldn't know real music if it bit them in the ass. What a disgrace the music industry has become, even our music society is miserably failing. How sad it truly is that there won't be many timeless classics coming from the generation of noise being made today, (can't call it music, it's just NOT), not like in yrs past. The days of 'Stairway To Heaven', 'Sweet Home Alabama', 'Freebird', 'Dust In The Wind', 'Turn The Page', 'Old Time Rock n Roll'...are long gone. :(

It's no wonder so many in the younger generations are turning to music written and recorded when I was their ages.

In addition to Kid & TBT's performance, I enjoyed seeing McCartney perform a classic Beatles hit, how awesome it would've been though had he asked Ringo to play the drums for the Grammy performance, just once more, for old times sake.

I bought Plant & Krauss' Raising Sand CD last week, not even realizing it was nominated for several Grammy's. I've loved Krauss' voice since she came on the music scene as a Bluegrass artist back in the 80's when in her teens...and well, Robert Plant needs no explanation for liking. The legend combined with Krauss' voice had my expectations high. There are a few songs I don't care for on the CD...maybe they'll grow on me, dunno...but I do like Rich Woman & Gone, Gone, Gone. Not Rock music, more Pop, but I still like their sound & style overall.

Oh well...Kid Rock and TBT have won and been presented the Grammy in the hearts of their fans.
