Prayers for Lil Jason

My pup Lil' Jason isnt doing so well and he needs alot of prayers....

he has worms (puppy worms), weve been giving him wormer and its workin but he has so many and when we got him he was sooo malnurished and still is, weve been feeding him and trying to get him to put some waight on but it isnt workin, hes gained a pound since we got him so now he waighs 2lbs so that is not good, we took him to the vet cause today he was so swole he looked like he was gonna pop, the vet said this is one of the worst cases of worms hes seen and its caused from him being so malnurished, he siad theres a chance he could die and theres a chance he could live....we just gotta watch him over the next day or so and just wait and see, he said it all depends on what the worms have ate into....

so hes needng alot of prayers right now so PLEASE! pray for my little buddy!

Comment by Courtster on October 30, 2009 at 2:20am: my bro has been bringin me baby formula and all kinds of stuff to try and put some waight on him, he brung us some calfs milk to he said he fed that to his puppies and it helped put some waight on, hes doing ALOT better and seems like hes gonna keep doing well, were not in the clear yet so keep the prayers comin!

Comment by Connie Jo on October 29, 2009 at 9:57pm: I wonder if it would be okay to give him some 'fattening' type food...like ice cream & stuff that's safe for puppies to help him gain weight? Although, with wormer the more like that you feed him, the more he's gonna have loose stools...that might be a good thing though, get rid of more worms!

Comment by Courtster on October 29, 2009 at 6:16pm: thanks for the tip Kidlop....will surely try it, were posotive its worms cause there falling out his butt and times and there coming out in his poop, Connie the vet said that the wormer is working but hes just soo full of 'em and is so underwaight that were already doing all we can do.

but today hes doing ALOT better most of the swelling is gone and he is hell to keep up with lol

Was the Vet able to give him some more powerful med's other than the common wormers?

Comment by kidlop on October 29, 2009 at 2:53am: hey courtster have you tryed feeding him rawl eggs...1 maybe 2 dependending on his size??if wormar medz dont work..might give it a shot..try mixing it with his food if he dont like it rawl..good luck..keep in mind might be something besides worm s ill se what i can find out..peace
