Im moving for another city, here in holand, and yestarday i did a dinner party for my friends Was Great!!!! All night long we were listening kid Rock! They loved!
The funny thing is, i had this idea because i know Kid Rock from the early albuns, (im 39 years old), when kid rock start putting music at the partys. I was part of that group of people who didnt like Britch Pop, or Disco, or Punk. At our partys (with my group of people in Portugal 1989/90) we were listening a lot of reggae, jazz, acid jazz and the old rock. When kid rock come to the scene we all had that some feeling of being part of something new. We were not anymore listening our brothers music. We had a voice. At the some time other great musicians come to the scene (like jamiroqui, or moby), but with Kid we allways felt at home!
So, when i heard for the first time this album, i couldnt believe this rock was from the some kid! And i know most of the people doesnt know all his music ( more the young people), so, i did my party a kid rock party for everybody.
was a success! Barbecue, beer, a lot of friends and Kid Rock music, who needs more?
