wAS jUST 16 AND NOW i'M 35!

My man and children gave me KR's new album for my 35th birthday recently.......after playing it, I knew I'd been kissed by an Angel! I love all the songs on this album and aprreciate Kid Rock's diversity!!!

The lyrics in these songs mean so much to me....I like to express myself in words, and have my own version of 'Roll On', Kid has touched a spot in my heart with this song.

My man (also a musician) AND I are havin' the best time with 'Rock'n'Roll Jesus', KID ROCK is my new 'SIAH'!!! I"M 'SPREADING' THE 'GOOD WORD'!

A couple of songs on his new album reminded me of other styles, this is because I too, have listened to different artists over the years whom have 'shaped' the way I feel! We all grow with our surroundings and life's adventures create whom we are! Kid Rock is livin' his own unique life, and although his influences inspire him, he is still his own person!! KR's vocals are sooo sweet, and this makes him unique along with the way he mixes his instruments, he creates his own style! Music is my life....it soothes my soul!
I wanna Thank KR for 'Rock N Roll Jesus'......he's helping me love......and be loved.......he lets me reflect on my past......cherish now......and live the future....he makes me feel like a woman!! HE IN MY NEW 'SIAH'!!!!!!

"It was just all my influences from growing up with Johnny Cash and Bob Seger. And then my older brothers and sisters into the Tubes and Van Halen, then me all into the hip-hop. And then I really got into the Southern rock with [Lynyrd] Skynyrd and Marshall Tucker, and I love the old country and Hank Williams and George Jones and Waylon Jennings. I know all that music like the back of my hand, and I play all the instruments. I taught myself every instrument after I learned the turntables when I was young. It wasn't really like I was trying to put styles together to create something different, because even the whole rap rock thing, I feel it could be a fad."
