Thought it would be fun to see everyone's pets. This has probably been done many times in the past. Sorry if this is a repeat.

This is Daisy (Basset Hound) and Dottie (Kitty) the cricket has no name. One day the two found it and just sat and watched it for the longest time. It was tooooo funny.

I love black and white rabbits! Don't have any, but they're my favorite!

Sally, your kitties are pretty! 'Almost' makes me want a cat...almost, haha. All of the pets posted are cute and adorable in their own right! I love all animals, but dogs are my weakness.

Thanks for posting this blog KRfan...it's been fun to see peoples pets! :)

I don't think there's been a blog showing pets. Below are my 3 beloved family members. I name my dogs after 'gunslingers', haha. Most are boys I adopt from the shelter, or strays I take in...my limit is 3 at a time though. The exception is my favorite breed, English Springer Spaniel...I've had 3 over the yrs, prefer girls. Lily is my current Springer, sadly she'll be my last...considering purebreds each year become more at risk for health issues, I'm sticking to mutts from here on out. Lily has a seizure disorder, of which one in four purebreds now have seizure disorders. It's due to refining breeds over decades eliminating too much of their natural immune system as a result.

My oldest is 'Sundance Kid' aka 'Sunny'...he's 11 now. I adopted him from the shelter in 1998 as a puppy, he's a Sheperd Blue Tick Hound mix, but no resemblance to a hound. Dakota I adopted from the shelter when he was 2 yrs, his time was up and no one wanted him, so I took him. He's 4 now, & such a sweet loveable Black Lab. Lily, my Springer...she'll be 4 next month, but her seizure disorder will shorten her life span. She's by far the most human like personality of any dog I've ever had...& I've had dogs since I was a kid. She's special, a genuis in many ways for a dog! Her superior intelligence & personality may have a connection to her seizure disorder, research indicate's such, but not definite.

I would absolutely love to have a pet Wolf! I had a beautiful Coyote & Black German Sheperd mix, that I took in as a sick dying stray pup. I spent a small fortune nursing him back to health. His name was 'Cole Younger' aka 'Cole', he was beautiful, and clocked once running approx. 50 mph., he was QUICK, and very smart! I had him for 6 yrs, a careless deer hunter killed him Thansgiving Weekend 2006. He is the second dog I've lost to careless hunters...lost my 2 yr old adopted Sheperd Blue Tick mix, 'Butch Cassidy', who was 'Sunny's' brother...to a hunter in 2000. :(
