How My Addiction Started:
Well I have always been a Kid Rock fan, but for Christmas 2001 my sweet husband gave me two tickets for Atlanta for 2002 Feb. My best friend and I went and had seats too far away but could still feel the energy. I knew I had to get closer so the next day I went online and purchased floor seats in Jacksonville, FL. My sweet husband bought my friend and I plane tickets. We got there and went to the concert and to our surprise our seats ended up being fourth row due to the stage extension in the center. Trick Pony opened up for him that night. I was hooked after that show. Of course now only floor seats will do, there is no sitting on the sides, back, upper deck none of that, has to be floor or nothing. Been to Knoxville, met some great people Rebecca to name one, that girl has the best luck she has met Kid twice now and a lot of other celebs, dont know how she does it but I told her to play the lottery. Been to Chattanooga sat in the pouring rain and lightening but well worth it of course. Seen him at the Waffle House and Atlanta 4 times. The best concert by far was at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. I got to park my car one row over from his buses so that is why it was so easy to get Billy to come to my car, he did tell me thank you for the free advertising. He is so sweet. I was a little disappointed with the Atlanta fans for not recognizing him. I asked him for his autograph he asked why I would want his autograph and I told him why wouldnt I, he smirked and signed my shirt. He then took pictures of my tattoo and then my car. I live in Kennesaw, Georgia and commute to Smyrna, Georgia for work, so look for my car and give me a beep if you see me. You cant miss my car, I have a pic posted of it. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Mr. Ritchie, Billy Ritchie and the rest of the band, they are all very accommodating and patient with the fans. I wish he would come back to the Tabernacle again.
