About Me:: About Me? I have the time to tell you, do you have time to care about another enough to read?

Simplicity is often found in being detailed & paying attention to detail. Brief or quick isn't detailed & leads to unnecessary complications in many ways. One being false assumptions made, or misunderstandings, both occur by not taking time to comment thoroughly, or 'listen' to others thoroughly, through voice or words written. In the end you spend more time resolving issues arising from not taking enough time in the beginning. There is a reason 'patience is a virtue'. Slow down, take time to grow, learn, listen and pay attention to others while following lifes path...including by reading what others have to say, otherwise you may miss that which is priceless...such as, discovering someone that could change your life for the better.

I'm a Leo on the cusp of Virgo, have personality traits of both. My life priorities are: family, home, genuine friends...I consider my genuine friends family, family includes my beloved dogs. I have learned being with those you love, having a home to share & create priceless memories in...is enough. Family & home are where true happiness & inner security are always found. The remainder in life materialistically is valueless by comparision, and/or pretentious bullshit. Joy is short lived, happiness is long lasting.

I retired early from my career as a GC/Interior Designer/Business Owner to enjoy life. The more demanding you make life, the greater your materialistic expectations & desires...the more complicated & stressful life shall be...as a result the faster life passes by, often miserably. I did busy & complicated, paid my dues, paid some for others along the way too...I now gratefully & graciously stop to smell the roses, and my favorite...lilacs.

I've learned being grateful for what you have, rather than dwelling on what you don't have...is the secret to a generally happy life. Happiness truly does lie within your own heart. I follow my heart, it is guided by God and never lets me down, not even through what appear to be lifes bad times. There is always good in bad...if your heart is willing, that is, to see good in bad.

I'm a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan! It's in my blood, I bleed RED & GOLD!! I proudly carry on our 'Chiefs family tradition' spanning 45 yrs.. I love tailgating at Arrowhead, & having a few beers with fellow Chiefs fans!

I'm 1/4 American Native (American is intentionally first). My tribal blood is Shawnee & Cree. I'm also 1/4 Irish, Scottish, & Welsh.

Obviously I'm a Kid Rock & TBT fan, or I wouldn't be here. I've been a fan since 2000...the album "Devil Without A Cause" is pure musical genius in all aspects. Kid Rock and TBT are the best of the best.

I 'write' to express opinions on a variety of subjects, including personal life philosophy, sharing memories, or to vent emotions & frustrations out loud on occasion. Therefore, was known for my long 'detailed' posts at the former KRAA (Kid Rock fan website 2003-2006). I'm known for the same here, it's not changing no matter how much an impatient self absorbed ass pokes at me for long posts. I'm also confident and stubborn. :)

If you care to know more 'about me'...please read my blogs and view my photos. If you're one of many impatient people in society who hates to read, self absorbed with no time for someone else, nor desire to expand your mind & thought process beyond your own little world...don't bother. I'll drive such personalities mad with length of posts, spare yourself the headache, & spare me the sarcasm. :)

A request with leaving comments/graphics on my page and/or blog...please be respectful. I'm old fashioned, with deep rooted old fashioned beliefs, principles, values, & morals...regardless of my being a Kid Rock & TBT music fan, respectively. Kid Rock is often mis-judged & so are his fans at times. As well, I may share my page with my family occasionally. :)

I thought I had it all figured out
My life was set in stone
I worked hard to achieve my goals
If only I would have known
Sometimes I mourn the wasted years
I would have been better alone
But everything happens for a reason
and I marvel at how I have grown
I'm older but wiser and free to ride
Let my hair down and be bad to the bone
No more tears, guilt or pity
No more fights and feeling shitty
look out world, I'm on my own.

~Below, my favorite American Native life lesson story~
"The Two Wolves"
One evening an old Shawnee squaw told her grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. She said, "My grandson, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all. One is Evil...it is vanity, anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good...it is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandmother: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Shawnee squaw simply replied, "The one you feed."
