What connects you to Kid Rock?
To start off with, my internet went down. When I got home, bought myself a bottle of booze and wanted to sit here chat and so forth. Anyways, since I couldn't get online, which is actually the first for more then an hour in several years, usually it's like a few minutes. I decided to read every single song lyrics of Kid Rock, from way back of his day to the present. Which I might say, some of his old old songs actually predicted what he thought of his future. I realized how and why I relate to him and what attracted me to him.
But what I'm asking is, why or how do you think you are connected to Kid Rock? And yeah in some strange ways it's Spiritually.
And truth is, I was so bored I kinda went Kid Rock crazy, now I know what happens when my internet goes down lol. Plus the good buzz going on. Damn I need a life. And to add the day I had today.

What connects me to Kid Rock....Well lets see... He is the long haired wizard with the lazy eye, ask me and I'll tell you that he's crazy fly.... He steps up to the mic like a soldier "bro"... He hates to sound like a dick but he told em so.... ;- ) I just love everything I know about him... what I see.. and not just his looks..His personality..The way he stands up for what he believes in....The fact that he made it to where he is amazes me..not because he is not talented but because I'm sure there were so many bad roads he could have went down and may have went down but didn't stay down...To me he is an inspiration...He touched my soul and has continued to do so year after year.... I never get tired of hearing his music ever...like so many other bands I get sick of hearing them...not so with Kid & TBT...

what connects me to mr kid rock his realism and how he thinks and what he feels in his heart and his normalacy ive liked him since 99 when i heard only god knows why he has helped me through alot of lifes difficulties the man will never really know what he means to me

good ? annie.unlike most im not into the internet sites and all,unless im on here to play poker.my wife told me about this site and im glad im still here.i guess maybe she thinks i have a connection to kid rock.lol."not sure if that is good or bad".im not one to put alot of faith in people or things that are sure to fail.but i do belive kid rock is as real as anyone can be.he is private as he can be about his personal life,and he has stood the test of time on that for sure.he is not one to just say it..he does it,,charity events, support the troops,and flat out tell anyone to get fucked if they are disrespectful.he has been critized for "selling out"/changing.i call it growing up,yet he still keeps doing the shit he wants and believes in doing and is not fazed by the stardome or bullshit that surrounds him.annie,i could go on and on.ill say it like this,kid seems like a dude i could drink a few beers with hanging in my garage and the next day sing songs to our troops while having a beer there as well and he wouldnt change.he is humble,respectfull and the American badass....sounds like someone i could call my friend...good blog annie.hope all is good with you and yours.peace

I have to honestly say that it was 'Picture' that got me started and from there it was his soul...his spirit...the way that he had me hanging on his every lyric...I felt 'connected' to him and his music because what he sings of is so real and about things that just about every single person can relate to...then it was his smile and the humor I saw in him when I would watch him in t.v. interviews and so forth...I love to watch him preform but I love even more watching him speak and show his sense of humor to the world...he makes me laugh and he makes me drool...

Most definitely 2bit! Without the people...there would be no Kid Rock & TBT...without my Kid Rock related friends, I wouldn't be a part of who I am. People we cross paths with in life affect us in many ways, some short term, others for life...and I have some lifetime friends and memories I hold dear to my heart as a result of Kid & TBT...they are the truly priceless connection to the music. :)

When I first heard his music I was going through a really tough time. It seemed like every song I heard I could connect to in some way. It made me feel like I wasn't alone. When I asked my son who this "Kid Rock guy" was his best friend made me a cassette of Devil Without a Cause and History of Rock. I was hooked and bought my own (they were heard to find at the time). Kid Rock and TBT have been with me through good times and bad since then.

I would have to say it is his drive, humor and business sense that is a big turn on for me...but his music speaks volumes to me.
I can relate to sooo many of his songs.
It keeps me sane on insane days...and i love him and the band for that.
