What connects you to Kid Rock?

To start off with, my internet went down. When I got home, bought myself a bottle of booze and wanted to sit here chat and so forth. Anyways, since I couldn't get online, which is actually the first for more then an hour in several years, usually it's like a few minutes. I decided to read every single song lyrics of Kid Rock, from way back of his day to the present. Which I might say, some of his old old songs actually predicted what he thought of his future. I realized how and why I relate to him and what attracted me to him.

But what I'm asking is, why or how do you think you are connected to Kid Rock? And yeah in some strange ways it's Spiritually.

And truth is, I was so bored I kinda went Kid Rock crazy, now I know what happens when my internet goes down lol. Plus the good buzz going on. Damn I need a life. And to add the day I had today.

Ok get on with it, what connected or attracted you to Kid Rock?

Annie, I found Kid at a very low point in my life, and I needed some cajones to do what needed to be done and his music helped me find the backbone that I had lost years ago,

All of you that knew him back in the day helped shed a light on him for me. He is GOOD PEOPLE, He's a very good listener. No matter what PAM or anybody else says about him I do not CARE. I feel honored and very blessed to have got to know of him and about his Music. I love his music, and the way he mixes different genres, and puts his own 'Kid Rock' twist on them.

Black sheep sindrome is something i feel we have in commen, my parents didnt think i would ever amount to much either, and hey, maby i didnt turn out to be a famous rock star like Mr Rock, but im holding my own in this tough world that we live in:)

And also, like Gorillawoman, i discovered Kid Rock when i was going through a difficult time in my life, and im sure his music,and his attituide helped me find the backbone i needed to make some big changes in my life.
I didnt have much money when i discovered Bob, and that little cd with the middle finger on it, was one of the very few means of entertainment that i had.
