These Guys Deserve A Big Salute From Us

I realize that many people in this country have a cause and a purpose. Our own Kid Rock is a "Devil Without A Cause." But when it comes to the military, no matter your age or gender, we always have to stop and take notice, pay our respects, and thank them every day for what they do for us....to serve...to protect...to honor.

With that, we know how huge Kid Rock is on doing whatever he can for our military. Also, what he can to show the little guy can succeed in this great nation. We see it in his concerts. We see it in his interviews.

I for one will always stop and take notice when...

Somebody is carrying a copy of the Declaration of Independence around in their pocket where ever they go.

I bring this to your attention because there are three guys; Dave, Todd, and Jeff. Here is some more about who they are:

Hi, we’re Dave, Todd and Jeff, founders of Three Sergeants Brewing Company. We served for many years together in the US Military both here in the United States and overseas where we formed lasting bonds of friendship and camaraderie. We often talked about brewing a beer formulated and marketed to the “average Joe” G.I. As we began organizing our company, we realized we wanted to connect with more than just those in uniform. Our uniforms represented the ideals of our democracy, and the trust and respect of our fellow citizens. We feel compelled to honor those who quietly exhibit humanity and bravery despite overwhelming circumstances - traits inherit in all of us. The kind of "go to" spirit you find in a Sergeant, not the T.V. and Hollywood version; the genuine article. These admirable character traits are present in Americans from all walks of life. We are a nation of every day heroes, the “go to” people we gladly honor with Sergeants American Ale.

Our refreshing, crisp beer is dedicated to the Sergeant in all of us. We have come to appreciate the simple pleasure of sharing a premium beer in the company of life-long trusted friends. Please join us in celebrating the ideals which inspire us all to exhibit a Sergeants' honorable, giving spirit.

Yes, they are the brewers of Sergants American Ale. A microbrew born and distributed presently in Michigan. Why is this so significant? Because their brew was formulated and approved last fall. It went out for sale this spring. It is being manufactured and put out by Michigan Brewing Company...the same folks who are putting out Kid Rock's Badass Beer. True to their own patriotism...they even have the date of one of their fallen hero buddies who died in Iraq embedded in the bar code of every bottle they sell!

Most of you have seen the press. Kid's beer is creating 400 new jobs in Michigan. Bobby Mason is dumping $7 million into expanding MBC for Kid's Beer. The State of Michigan is offering large tax incentives to MBC for Kid's Beer. Essentially, Kid has become MBC.

But what of our Three Sergeants caught up in this worldwind of Kid Rock's World? I for one am completely captivated by this story...and think it is one Kid Rock fans should embrace.

Kid's Beer isn't completely here yet. If you're in Michigan, or visiting for a Kid Concert, or an event. then please, ask your bartender, or check the shelves at the minute market for some Three Sergeants American Ale. Give it a try. You might just enjoy it. I think these guys deserve it...as well as always thanking all our service men and women for all they do for us every single day.

Here is Three Sergeants Corporate Philosophy Statement:

"For Duty, Fun and Profit"

Duty is our self-sacrificing sense of responsibility to succeed with honor, and where appropriate share that success with others. We shall annually donate a portion of our net profits to charitable organizations that assist veterans and their families, or the non-combatant victims of war and terrorism. The image we project and the values we communicate represent the ideals of a free and compassionate society.

Having Fun invites others to work with us productively and is critical to our individual health and welfare. It helps retain quality personnel and business relationships, moderating the stress generated from the inevitable unforeseen changes.

Earning a healthy Profit in a competitive industry is a principal indicator of success.
Our profits guide us by providing discipline to a dynamic, creative process.

He said he has 12 distributors lined up in Michigan. It is already selling. Beyond that, I do not know.

Thanks Scooter! Like everyone else, we have a story. At some point, ours may garner a lot of attention and even a little praise from our fellow Americans. Yet, rest assured we're simply "average joes" chasing the dream. Congratulations to Kid and his network in advance for their upcoming beer launch.

Wow Dave! Pleased to meet you. Yes, like everyone else you do have a story. But it's not very often my story is to tip my cap, and thank my men in uniform with every sip I take.

From one average joe to another...thank you.

Thanks for the love! We are in Michigan and Indiana. I would love to pass you a Sergeants American Ale as soon as we can secure distro in your area. In the meantime, we are getting some awesome cool t-shirts together and they are easy to ship. How would you like to be the first in Minnesota to wear some of our gear?

Yes Angie! In fact, you can! Call my good friends in Ocala at Maris. You know? Roger Maris, the home run king? His place, and now his family's. Tell them you want Kid's Beer ASAP! They handle most of the state from what I remember years ago. Anybody else in FL? Do the same!
