Don't see anything wrong with taking your 16 yr old along, he's old enough to have common sense, stay out of trouble no doubt if you can't supervise him 24 hrs.. That would be my only concern with taking a kid...if I couldn't enjoy myself due to having to supervise my kid. I wouldn't think one could with bringing young kids. Just depends upon whether or not one goes on the cruise for their own fun & relaxation, or as family fun. :)
Only problem i see is what if it isn't a good environment for a teenage boy or girl??? How ya gonna get him/her away from it???? Ya can't just say, "OK, you don't belong here lets go home"...
I suppose they could go to their cabin...providing you're willing to stay there with them, or trust them to stay in the cabin alone. Also, it's a big boat, haha...I would think one could find 'safe' environments for teens, and besides...ship security is usually fairly tight, or so I've been told.
Yeah!!! I dont think it would be bad if they are older. I know My 17yr old Daughter is wanting to go too.. She loves Kid Also. But Of Course not as much as me..lol

Well Carnival has a Kids program, with it divided according to the childs age.............. from out of diapers until 17 yrs ( i think) .
I sure u can look it up on their website.
I , myself , would say NAW to kids, but I dont have any and dont want the responsibility for any.
I shouldn't...but lordy it sure looks like I will be on that ship come April! Unless something goes terribly wrong between now & tomorrow when I book during my predetermined pre-sale time! YEEHAW MF'ers LETS ROCK!!
As my miserable life would have it.. Unless by some miracle.. I will not be on the cruise.. Believe me, I am so depressed over this..Anyway... If I were going and had the money for my kids to go as well, I would take them.. 17 & 15 I think that would be a trip of a lifetime for the kids.... Who else can say I went on a cruise with Kid Rock....
