OK, new question of the week .......

If you could meet Kid Rock aka Rob Ritchie, and you were allowed to ask him one question (and ONLY one), what would that question be?

If it were me, I would ask him the following, "Are you a *good* man? (Not only in your deeds, but in your heart of hearts as well?).

There was a point where he wasn't talking to a special guest of honor backstage, he was standing there alone, actually looking somewhat lost, hahaha...so I approached to make conversation while the guest of honor was running around proudly with much excitement showing family his special gifts Kid had presented him with.

During our conversation the only questions I remember asking him were about his voice and how the damp weather was going to affect it during the concert later, since we were experiencing Tropical Storm rains. He said he prefers damp weather, as it helps his vocal chords and throat from becoming dry while performing. There was a comment made about his voice being similar to that of a race car...runs best and more smoothly with adequate lubrication, Kid laughed, and said, "yeah, that's it, my voice runs like a race car!"

There was some more humor when I asked him if he knew about Chinese Philosophy stating wind chimes would ward off evil spirits, and he replied as he laughed, "then I'm gonna need a whole bunch of chimes", hahaha...the guest of honor had given Kid a gift of custom made blown glass chimes.

We've also briefly talked about the NFL, KC Chiefs in particular, a question or two related to Hank JR being a loyal Chiefs fan, and if I heard Kid correctly, he said he liked the Chiefs too! But of course he would! LOL

I can't think of any questions I would ask Kid specifically, rather just roll with the flow of natural conversation, haha.

I can assure you based upon my 'limited' but detailed experiences with Kid...he is indeed a "good man" in his heart of hearts. The eye's are the mirror to one's soul, look in his eyes...the "good man" can be seen in his eyes. :); ▶ Reply to This
