You see the CMT logo cause Bob discovered that Country music peeps pay money. They dont download illegally cause they dont have puters. lol Kiddin.... Dont write me letters by hand. lol Kiddin....

Putting out cross genre music is the smartest thing he ever did. And being able to pull off Rap, Country, Rock, Blues, and POP makes him fuckin amazin.; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Connie Jo on October 17, 2009 at 9:10pm: I appreciate and enjoy classic Country Music...but today's Country for my taste & ears just sucks, with exception of a few who have stayed true to Country roots & sound. If it ain't got a steel guitar in the music, it ain't much Country sounding to me. Steel & Country Music go hand & hand IMO. Most of what they're calling Country Music...sounds more like POP IMO, and most the voices are lame at best, covered up by background vocalists & instruments. Much of the music itself sucks, not necessarily the musicians suck, just the music in general. I can't believe how many are off key...my sensitive ears hear it beyond the cover up efforts. Listening to most Country music artists today...is the equivelant of fingernails scratching on a chalkboard...I hate it.

That said, at least Kid has a good Country Soul sounding voice, doesn't have to be covered up by others background vocals & instruments, and it doesn't hurt my ears, hahaha. Still, I too prefer Kid singing Rap, Hip Hop, & Rock. Some of his Country...Real Mean Bottle, Last Stand In Open Country, Honky Tonk Woman...are among my favortite Kid Rock songs...but they got some bluesy & rock sound/beat to them.; ▶ Reply to This

there is really nothing I do not like from the TBTs.

I must say however, there are a couple of songs that tug on my heartstrings and I tend to skip those right on by because the I don't like to hear the sadness in the voice, lol........Single Father (ok, is this David AC song or a KR song?
