Since the press release indicates an initial release in Michigan, immed followed by the Midwest markets, it would be in your best interest to have him call Drinks Americas itself. They will tell your boss who their distributor is for your area, and the anticipated time it will be available. If they have no orders from your local distributor yet, then he will be directed to contact that local distributor to make sure he gets it as soon as possible for that entire area. Otherwise, if you leave it to the local rep, they always take the path of least resistance and that is to say, "I'll check into it."
As Jamie already indicated a few weeks ago. It was supposed to have a special US red label on the neck of the bottle which would obviously indicate a "red neck" beer.
If you look closely, there is a label for the 22 oz. version of the beer as was originally talked about. It looks like his Staggerbomb will gain some legs...a 22 oz BadAss with a shooter of Jim Beam Red Stag....ala Staggerbomb.
One... and you can slide down the road without getting busted.
I'm pretty sure his Made In Detroit label will be putting out the T-Shirts. They should have already been on the tour by now. Waddup with that?
Oh!!!! I know! OK, everybody is forgiven. They want the T-Shirts to look like the label of the beer and bottles themselves. They couldn't do the T-Shirts and caps until the labels were approved by the Treasury Dept. That was done this week.
So, somebody make that call to Costa Rica and tell them we need a shitload of black thread ASAP!
