I'm usually not one to mention things like this, but, did y'all realize tickets were on sale at 10am

Though Live Nation or Ticketmaster, all you needed was a very easy to find password, unfortunately I found this out too late....and to top it off you could of gotten Pit or front row for as low as $76...I should of paid more attention because I did a search early this am and saw places like stub hub and such that already had them for sale, but thought, they were planning ahead....hmmm. SUCKY!

Permalink Reply by Crazy4Rock on March 18, 2009 at 9:55pm: Well, go to Live Nation or Ticket Master, put in the Citibank code...I'm not being mean, just look at all the brokers who have had tickets since this morning...what is there to prove, go to EBay...I slipped up. I thought they were planning ahead. All you needed was a Citibank Card code, google it, it will give it to you, or if you are a member of Skynard, have to pay for that, tickets were available at 10am.

If you go and try to buy tickets now via this site, you will notice that many of them are still available and did not sell out, good news for us, they will get push into the Ticketmaster/Live Nation Bin for Public Sale.

It would have shown a great deal of class to have mentioned it and given people options. In these times, $$$ is very hard to come by and we can all do with a night of fun from time to time.

I can't afford a night that will start off costing me in the upper $400s for just the tickets...then there is travel, hotels, food, drinks....etc.

I am spoiled, I do expect to get Pit, 1st or 2nd row....paid my dues and do not feel it is fair that Brokers and Corporations like Citibank, Visa...get 1st crack at these seats...

WE ARE THE FANS and DESERVE BETTER!!!!!

If I was competing against the average consumer, then all would be fair, but we don't have a chance, we have to pay the higher prices to get good seats....I say it sucks! & it's fucking ridiculous!

I'm confident that we will get good tickets because we know a lot of people who supply them, but I would prefer to just buy them on TM, Live Nation or get them via this site for a realistic price. No BBQ or Laminent is worth $225+....I don't care who you are.

This wouldn't of happened 2 years ago...corporate America is taking advantage of us even in these difficult times. It's wrong!!!!; ▶ Reply to This

Permalink Reply by Lisa on March 19, 2009 at 12:39am: BBQ Last Year was FREE BEER and Wine plus food...i stuck with the Beer...they kept all the BBQ people up front...a guaranteed good seat.....we more than drank our fair share of the ticket price.....I thought it was pretty cool and enjoyed the whole experience!!
