Do you have a Kid Rock song you consider an 'Our Song'?

We talk here often of Kid Rock & TBT songs that we relate to our lives one on one, but I'm curious...do you have and share a KR & TBT song with a special person in your life...an 'Our Song' with a spouse, friend, family member? Please don't include Kid Rock as being that special person you share a song with...I'm talking 'real life' here, not fantasy, lol.

A friend and I share a Kid Rock song..."Last Stand In Open Country"...duet with Willie Nelson. I'm not real sure why we share it, but we do, hahaha.

I'm Sorry Rosaria...break ups are tough emotionally, regardless of circumstances.

I would imagine with as many as there are in our society these days...many can connect to the song 'Picture' for sure.

Don''t be sorry for me Connie Jo... I walked away from my marriage with a clear conscience... We were still together when that came out and even then we knew that was "Our Song"..... I tried to be friends with him after the fact for the kids but that didn't work out either....

now as far as sharing a song with someone else... I don't know...????.. His songs seem to touch my heart and soul... So I would have to say I'm selfish and all his songs are mine...lol...except.. the one above

I sorta wish i had a Kid Rock song with my husband but unfortunately my husband isn't a great fan of Bob. He's getting a little better but much rather listen to Van Halen or i hate to say it, Motley Crue. He still goes to all of the shows with me and is such a good sport about it. He jokes around and says i act like I am a teenager because i am always hoping i could meet Bob. I want to meet Bob but to talk with him about his music and thats it, I think :)

I didn't have a Kid Rock song with my husband (now X)...but he was a Kid Rock fan. I say "was" cause he was before he had an emotional breakdown...now he's a Miley Cyrus fan...serious biz! He likes Taylor Swift too.

Anyway, I'm happy we didn't share a Kid Rock song...it would sorta ruin the song for me if we had of, haha.

Well i dont have 1 song its a whole cd! 10 years ago as I walk out on a twenty year marriage,my x gives me a couple of cds for what i dont know. One of those cds was Devil Without a Cause.I had never listened to Kid before until then.tThat was what I started my day with every day on the way to work! His music kept my mind off the pain.He wiil forever have my gratitude. Every song on that cd has a part in my healing process,Only God Knows Why,Wasting Time,...the list goes on.

I can relate to ending a marriage...mine was 37 yrs long! I can relate to healing too, and many Kid Rock songs connected to that healing.

Though I've been a diehard fan for a decade...Kid Rock & TBT's music has been truly a saving grace since I ended my marriage 8 months ago. When I'm down, I crank it up, grab a beer, start rocking out to the music dancing around home...or I'll hop in my truck, cruise the country two lanes with it cranked up bopping along, hahaha. I most always go from down to wound & upbeat when I'm Kid Rockin it!

I NEVER, but NEVER listen to sad ballads or songs when I'm down...that's NOT a good idea for any one to do. I have a favorite and special Kid Rock & TBT CD I burned, combining all my favorites from each CD over the years, and also included duets, unreleased songs, etc....they're all upbeat & rocking it! :)

Wow. This discussion is so moving and shows how deeply Kid's music affects us all. Unfortunately, I don't have a song with anyone either. None of my personal friends/family members are Kid Rock fans unfortunately. Connie Jo, if you don't mind me asking, what songs do you have on your CD that you burned with all his songs that were your favorites? That's awesome. Which unreleased ones were added if you don't mind sharing? LOL. I also have to agree with the lady who said that his songs are all mine and I'm selfish. I guess I have to be if none of my friends are fans of our guy.
