I looked at the policies for Comerica Park which states:
CAMERAS/VIDEO
Guests are welcome to bring still and video cameras into the Park and may take pictures from their seats during the game. Guests are requested to not stand in aisles or obstruct others from viewing the game while taking pictures. Tripods are not permitted.
I called tickets.com and they said Comerica Park policies for the baseball games are the same for the concerts. But I sent an email to Comerica Park operations just to be sure.
If I get confirmation, I willl be taking my video camera. We have VIP tickets, so we are really close. I'll be able to get some good video and pix that I will post for you guys. I'm so excited. This will be my first KR concert. We got a stretch limo too!
Non professional cameras are permitted into the ballpark for Kid Rock.
Video cameras of any kind are not permitted.

Personally, I don't understand why they don't allow video cameras cuz my non-professional camera takes video. Oh well. At least I know I can bring my camera instead of having to use my Blackberry, which takes aweful quality photos and video.
